Hope

so this was my 4th week of weight watchers and im still doing ok with the program. i have to say though that i felt a bit heavier this week. the supertstart program only allowed for 20 points a day and since i completed that im now back up to 23. its only a few extra points, but i felt like i was eating a LOT more this week. all up i get an extra 21 points for the week.. thats a lot of food. I still had a loss this week though, 800grams. I've lost 5.7kgs since starting WW so i really am happy with that. i didnt think it would work this well. i guess i shouldve had a little more faith! in the program and in myself.

there were a few threads floating around on the board about rewards and i for one am a GREAT lover of the reward system. why shouldnt we get something for our achievements? some said that the weight loss itself was a great enough reward, and while on some level i agree, its also nice to get a small gift from someone else to show that they are proud and have noticed the changes in you too. So for me this week was extra special! Rhys is probably one of the most selfless people you will meet, with the rest of his 'spending' money this week he bought me 4 CD's, a DVD box set and a gorgeous new chair for my computer room! Click the pictures to see them bigger.

presents new pretty chair

Our 6 year anniversary was also this week and we had foxtel installed and the carpets cleaned! we couldnt think of something we both wanted to buy each other that was 'significant' so we went for things we wanted for the house instead!

Getting all of this and my recent 'gloomy' outlook of the world basicaly sparked my next bit of news. i decided to sponsor a child through world vision. A little 8year old girl from Mongolia.

Eden

Her name is Erdenebayer, but i am nicknaming her Eden for myself, its easier to say. The work that world vision does is just amazing, while its taken me so long to do this, i really do urge anyone that is able to help to do so. there are so many children in the world who need your help.

thanks to everyone who commented on my last post, my little tea cakes. im glad you liked them! they are my latest little project. if anyone would like one as a little keepsake, let me know im happy to make them for you.

have a wonderful weekend everyone
love & hugs & fluffy stuff
